YASMEEN BUILDING SUBSTATION | BIM

BIM coordination and technical design case study for an electrical substation serving the Yasmeen City development in Lusail, Qatar. The project required the development of a highly coordinated BIM environment integrating electrical infrastructure with architectural, structural and MEP systems. The work focused on resolving complex interfaces between medium- and low-voltage equipment, transformers, switchgear rooms, cable routes, HVAC systems, fire protection and associated building services. My involvement included multidisciplinary BIM coordination, equipment and spatial coordination, clash detection and resolution, maintenance and access requirements, constructability reviews, coordinated technical documentation, consultant submissions, and support for construction-stage design modifications.
